Nepal Junior Red Cross Circle, SOS HGS Bharatpur

was established in 2004 with an ultimate end of carrying out different humanitarian activities in and beyond school. All the students from Grade Six to Grade Ten of SOS HGS Bharatpur are the members of this Circle. A Working Committee is elected through a full fledged election where all the juniors enjoy the right to franchise. School Principal, Mr. Ganga B Gurung is the ex-officio Patron of this Circle and Mr. Jagadish Dhakal, an English Teacher is the Teacher Sponsor at present.

Ankita Poudel, a grade nine student from SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Bharatpur representing the Nepal Junior Red Cross Circle stood third in Eloquent Competition organized by Sub Branch Office Krishnapur of Nepal Red Cross Society Chitwan.The topic for the contest was ' Students and Red Cross'. She was awarded a certificate of appreciation along with cash prize.
