Nepal Junior Red Cross Circle, SOS HGS Bharatpur

was established in 2004 with an ultimate end of carrying out different humanitarian activities in and beyond school. All the students from Grade Six to Grade Ten of SOS HGS Bharatpur are the members of this Circle. A Working Committee is elected through a full fledged election where all the juniors enjoy the right to franchise. School Principal, Mr. Ganga B Gurung is the ex-officio Patron of this Circle and Mr. Jagadish Dhakal, an English Teacher is the Teacher Sponsor at present.

Ankita Poudel, a ninth grader of SOS HGS Bharatpur bagged second prize at Regional Eloquent Contest organized by Nepal Junior Red Cross Circle, Aadarsha Public School Bharatpur on 18th February, 2010. The topic of her speech was 'Me and Social Service'. She was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a trophy.
