World Environment Day Observed






Nepal Junior Red Cross Circle, SOS HGS Bharatur organized a Cycle Rally to mark World Environment Day on Sunday under the leadership of NJRC Teacher Sponsor, Jagadish Dhakal as a part of awareness campaign on conservation of Environment.


All the students of secondary level i.e. from grade eight to ten and some teachers rallied on their cycles carrying placards and covered a distance of six kilometer in the community near by the school.  

The placards read ‘World Environment Day-Forest: Nature at your service’, ‘Save Wetlands’, ‘Unite to Battle against Global Warming’, ‘Modern Technology Owes Ecology and Apology,’ ‘Cut Tree Cut Tree Then There Will Be No Tree Left to See’, ‘Respect Wildlife’. etc.


The awareness campaign, organized by newly elected working committee of NJRC as their first appearance of this tenure, was inaugurated by the Patron of the Circle and School Principal, Mr. Ganga B Gurung by watering a plant.
   The campaign was applauded by the locals.
